This painting captures the excitement of creating in the studio. The painter is rendering his subject, a blue nude at the lower right of the canvas, but the artist is painting the nude on a canvas in bright colors and in a different pose. He transforms her with his brush, just as viewers are transformed by witnessing this occurrence. Different levels of perception are created by overlapping forms characteristic of primitive painting. The outlines of the figures create a rhythm throughout the artwork. Shipping in U.S. included.
