My hope is that the viewer is moved by the passion in this scene. My own strong belief in God guided me in the creation of this painted scene showing the tenderness and loving way Mary looks upon Christ, here a babe in swaddling clothes. I want the viewer to feel religious and spiritual awe and gratitude for our Savior.
